Our Boxing Day Races is most popular among locals, with many families & friends gathering to celebrate the end of the festive season. The race day has a long history since first being run in 1851 as the Warwick Christmas Races.

In 2024 the Club have gone from strength to strength with Maurice Monckton Allman Park’s Track Manager producing an excellent quality track, with Trainers such as 2024 Melbourne Cup winners John Symons & Shelia Laxon, choosing Warwick Turf Club to race their thoroughbreds. 

Many great Qld Trainers have ventured to Warwick in 2024 as example 6 out of the 10 leading Queensland trainers being Tony Gollan, Chris Munce, Lindsay Hatch, Robert Heathcote, Mark Currie & Annabel Neasham.

Included in the seven-race card is the Magic Millions Country Cup Qualifier with $35,000 prize money with the $20,000 bonus if the winner is Magic Millions Race Series nominated, and competes in the Magic Millions County Cup at the Gold Coast Turf Club 11 January, 2025.

The Maydan Livestock Transport/Freestone Feedlot Summer Vibes Boxing Day Races will see more than 1,500 people through the gate with plenty of attractions.  Amusements for the children, live entertainment by Nash for the party goers and plenty of fun in the sun with our Trackside Pavilion providing shade and an easy going theme of pineapples, palm trees and giveaways. 

The Club gives many thanks to Racing Queensland for another supported year of racing and will continue to work together to better our racecourse and venue.
