Cathy Cooney, the current owner, started working at Coorey's Clothing at 18, continuing the family tradition of dedication and hard work. Her father, Joe, affectionately known as "Slugger- The King of Bargains," joined the store in his early 20s after his national service. Joe’s warm greetings and daily presence quickly made him a familiar and beloved figure in Warwick, earning him a place on the town hall legends wall. Cathy’s mother, Jackie, played a crucial role in curating the store’s fashionable offerings, ensuring customers always had access to the latest styles.
